Before you order
Can I upload a hand-drawn sketch?
Yes — it is the main way people order here. Biro on the back of a delivery note is fine. Photograph it square on, get all the figures in frame, and send it with your sizes.
Do I approve the drawing before manufacture?
Always. You see the profile drawn properly, with every figure on it, before you pay — and that approved drawing is what goes to the works.
How do I measure a flashing?
Measure each flat face along the metal, and the angle between them. Add the faces together and you have the girth — the width of sheet it is folded from. If you are unsure, send the sketch with the sizes you have and ring us.
What is the maximum girth?
1250 mm, across up to 10 folds. Anything wider comes as two pieces with a lap, and we will tell you before you pay rather than after.
What lengths can I order?
Anything from 50 mm to 3 m. Three metres is the longest single piece we make — it is the blank the metal is cut from — so a longer run goes as two pieces with a lap.
Which colours and finishes are available?
Leathergrain, HPS200, Prisma, Galvanised, in the 20 colours shown above. If you need one that is not listed, ring us — most are available, they simply are not held.
What if I have given you the wrong dimensions?
Ring us straight away. Before it is cut we can change it; once it is folded to your approved drawing it is yours, because it fits nothing else.
